Illegal aliens are going to find it harder and harder to work while in the U.S., the walls are finally closing in on them.

Not until those who hire them are given jail time.

Mandatory, universal and functional e-verify, combined with a $100,000 fine and a 1 year jail sentence for any employer caught hiring illegals should be a good start.

Trump has e-verify in his 2018 budget that way no employer will be able to get away with saying that they didn't know that they had illegal aliens working for them. They will get jail time and stiff fines for non-compliance.

It's been in the budget for a year now. When are they going to pass it?

There hasn't been a final budget yet. We only have temporarily kept the government open till some time this month. How could it be in the budget for a whole year when it's for 2018?

This would not be necessary if sanctuary cities did not exist. Refusing to hand over illegals who have entered the legal system has forced ICE to go looking elsewhere.

Today they enter businesses. Tomorrow they will enter homes. It has become dangerous for everyone, legal and illegal. The jailhouse handover would be much simpler.

Maybe so.
But in this case ICE went looking for illegals, and I don't think it was an accident that they went looking in a sanctuary area.
Would they have gone looking if they had no place to put them? Do you buy more gas when your tank is full?

Either we raise taxes or raise the debt. Which will the GOP Congress do?

One doesn't have to deport all 11 million at one time. There are raids going on now with or without tax cuts. It will cost $25 billion to build the wall while it costs over $100 billion for the social costs of illegal aliens. The wall will pay for itself in no time. Trump's plan to have Mexico pay for it is still on the table also. I'm not sure why you are only referring to the GOP in regards to the costs as they still have to have many Democrats on board to fund the wall or anything else.
