I wonder what happens if the Federal government wasn’t cooperating with helping state funds or emergency management ... I guess you would be okay with that...

177 raids and we only know of 21 arrests. Some that care about deportations and the law should question results. ICE should not be used just to make a political statement.

What good is throwing billions to border security if it's just for campaign spots.
Injured by an illegal. Put ICE on it.

Unlike the 7-Eleven raids in January, which resulted in 21 arrests, ICE didn’t identify the businesses hit this week, nor did the agency make any immediate arrests, the paper reported.

So in the end, as is typical, they did nothing. They get headlines with nothing accomplished.

The FBI needs cleaned out. Yes, this is the same kind of playing politics as with the FBI.

ICE raid hits 77 businesses in Northern California

For the sake of argument, if there were illegal immigrants employed at all those places there should be 77 business owners in custody as well for hiring people without proper documentation.

We could put an end to this problem quickly if we concentrated on that, but the Republican party and the US Chamber of Commerce have always actually been pro-immigration and thereby practically ignore business owners who hire illegals.

We need mandatory e-verify, and it's not in the immigration plan.....

Less than a month after federal immigration officials raided nearly 100 7-Eleven stores nationwide, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents conducted another sweep this week in Northern California, officials said

This time, ICE agents searched 77 businesses in the San Francisco and Sacramento areas in what was believed to be the largest localized raid since President Donald Trump took office, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The raid underscores ICE acting director Thomas Homan’s call for a “400 percent increase” in agency operations focusing on workplaces, the paper reported.

We will, as always, work with our federal partners in every respect to go after drug dealers, human traffickers, potential terrorists," Becerra said in January. "We're not in the business of deportation. We're in the business of public safety."
Even the slow Democrats have to see how they have been duped by their own party by now. Do they really believe at this point when the Democrats scream racism and xenophobia they really mean that or are they just covering for their corrupt business supporters who profit off illegal immigration and the new slavery?

Guilty until you prove yourself innocent? There is no evidence that even one had hired an illegal.

This is true. The entire article and actions are hyperbole intended to cover for the facts. There were no raids. There was a letter sent asking the businesses to show that their employee's were all here legally.
