Are you sure it said the raids are illegal?
I thought the law said it's illegal for businesses to give ICE any info on its workers.

Feel free to send a check to the treasury dedicated to the wall, or wait 'til the $$$ arrives from Mexico to pay the tab.

Sounds good to me.

Better than a wall
.

Not until they start handing out significant jail time to those who hire illegals. As long as they can make $$$ to send home a wall's not gonna stop them.

Tell you the truth, I bet a "go fund me" would do really well, if GoFundMe would allow it. I bet not.

I corrected my statement later in the thread, mountainrose. The new law states ICE must have a warrant before they go into businesses for raids.

But as others pointed out, that's not Federal law.

For the sake of argument, if there were illegal immigrants employed at all those places there should be 77 business owners in custody as well for hiring people without proper documentation.

We could put an end to this problem quickly if we concentrated on that, but the Republican party and the US Chamber of Commerce have always actually been pro-immigration and thereby practically ignore business owners who hire illegals.

No, it's the Democrats that have been fighting holding the employers accountable by blocking e-verify in the past. Trump has e-verify in his 2018 budget. Bet the Democrats block it again.

Question:

When They find a truck load full of illegals like they did the other day crossing the border ( a DACA driver ), do all those illegals immediately get sent back across the border, or do they get let loose with a paper saying to show up at deportation court, which they never do?

It's a deterrant that has proven to work. Why not stop as many as we can at the border? No one is saying that it will stop 100% of them from getting in here.
