Another illegal who supposedly does not commit crimes, he just drives drunk and kills people.

Mexican Illegal Alien Arrested for Deadly Hit-and-Run Free to Leave Prison in Sanctuary City Denver | Breitbart
An illegal alien from Mexico, arrested for allegedly causing a fatal hit-and-run accident, will be free to leave prison should he pay his $25,000 bond, as the Denver Sheriff’s Department remains committed to their “sanctuary city” policy.

One can't help but wonder whose side these politicians are on when they press for the sanctuary city status and ignore the wants and needs of legal citizens and immigrants alike?

They are on the side or insanity, none of what the dems do nowadays makes any sense.

That the Denver Sheriff's Dept. wants this guy back on the street rather than in ICE custody is beyond bizarre. Their priorities are warped.

It is examples like this that cause so much public backlash against illegals. Cannot the open borders crowd at least differentiate that maybe letting criminal illegals wander the streets isn't a good thing, that maybe we should at least deport the criminals amongst them?

This is an outrage and getting more ridiculous every day.

It’s time these liberals get voted out of office. I have no doubt the majority of Californians want our immigration laws already on the books enforced.

Someone needs to point out that plenty of illegal aliens (the correct term) were deported under Bush, Obama and Clinton. Blurring the line between “immigrant” and “illegal alien” by the media and California politicians needs to be corrected to the facts, not hype.

What happened to the Democratic Party? The likes of Jerry Brown and his cohorts have ruined this state. God help us if Gavin Newsom is elected governor. If that occurs, then the southern border will be removed. It’s time our state wises up and votes in new reasonable leadership. (And to think I am a former Democrat before the party was hijacked by over-the-top liberals.)

The good news is that with the constant barrage of the media many people are becoming sick and tired of illegals flaunting the law. This debate has been filled with untruths. Blaming Trump is one of the many lies.

Why is our leadership more concerned about illegals rather than citizens? I am beyond furious!

The Feds know where he is at. They could go pick him up at any time but won't.

It's disgusting they will not perform their Constitutionally mandated requirements.

So...

Drunk illegals (and some citizens) killing and maiming people and walking off scot free has been going on for decades.

If there was a news report every time one of these guys was dropped off by the cops (who say, " We will pick him up later" (uh, no you won't bc he probably didn't give you a real name or address)), there wouldn't be room for Dear Abby.

You should work trauma in a border city.
Rampant.

So now ICE has to first go looking for this guy since they allowed him to bond out of jail. and what would make anyone think the feds will know where he is, he more than likely used a fake address and would not be going back to a real address since he knows he faces prison and deportation.

Quote:
ICE seeks illegal immigrant in Colorado fatal hit-and-run who bonded out of jail
The 26-year-old had bond posted at $25,000, meaning he could get out of jail for $2,500 and avoid federal immigration officials until his next court date. That's because the Denver Police Department and other state agencies stopped honoring detainer orders from ICE since 2013 after courts ruled it was illegal.

It's pretty sick when State police refuse to hold him...
