trumps ingenuous offer to Dems was to protect DACA at the cost of building his concrete wall. Only idiots would go for that deal.
Those 2 courts rulings were themselves improper. It is Conress's hub to pass or not pass a law about DACA. The President did the right thing.

I wish it were true. Trump doesn't care about something he has never and will never encounter.

This issue has been festering since the 1970s. If they wanted to solve it, they would.

They have not been overturned despite DOJs appeal to SCOTUS.

Trump wasn't president back in the 70's. "They" are other Republicans and Democrats, not him.

I cannot believe it matters. He clearly is not going to do a damn thing. He goes back and forth on every issue including this one.

The tragedy is if the man would calm the hell down, get off of Twitter, and focus on this, he could at least lay the groundwork for solving it once and for all.

What you and I want is radically different than what the Democrats and Republicans want.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Moth. Trump used the wall as a campaign speech to win votes. He may want to build a wall but for the criminal cartels from flowing in but not for the DACA recipients. It's very unfortunate but he has mentioned many times he wants to take care of the dreamers. It's clear with his actions and not by what he says, where he stands on this issue.

Too bad, most of the people in this country only see Dems and Repubs as possible outcome to the election, which is why we get the same results for decades. Although, he's STILL a million times better then Hillary, he betrayed Americans with his deceitful lies. The truth has comes out, we need a candidate like Ron Paul in office.

The Globalist are winning by having the Illegals here and having infiltrated our system to keep them here. Very unfortunate.

SCOTUS said that it has to go through the proper channels before they would address it.

From the article:

The Supreme Court's denial Monday was expected, because the justices rarely accept appeals asking them to bypass the lower courts

Trump did not end DACA it expired but Trump said he would extend the program for six months because of the recent SC ruling.
The two courts that you refer to are both the same courts that tried to stop the immigration from terror sponsoring countries, which liberal seem to want for reason that escape me....and the SCOTUS overturned both.

The SC sent the DACA ruling back because of due process. It will most likely be back in front of the SC this fall.

By refusing to hear a California case, the high court ensured that DACA will survive at least through the fall, giving DACA enrollees a temporary reprieve from deportation and Congress more time to craft a permanent solution for them.

TULSA — President Trump will extend a March 5 deadline to end protections for young undocumented immigrants if Congress fails to act by then, according to a Republican senator who spoke directly with the president about the issue. Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) said Trump told him he was willing to “give it some more time” to allow lawmakers to find a solution for “dreamers,” unauthorized immigrants brought to this country as children, if Congress does not pass legislation extending protections before time is up.

So what you are saying democrats just refuse to compromise while holding Dreamers in limbo using them as bargaining chips.

trump ENDED it. It did not expire. This from Sept. 2017.

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department announced on Tuesday it is ending DACA, the Obama-era program that allowed undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children to remain in the country, while also giving Congress a six-month window to possibly save the policy.

I don't see how you can think that he's not doing anything about illegal immigration.
