Sure you don't speak alone. Bleeding hearts abound. Many agree with the other side that DACA is unreasonable and unfair to legal immigrants who are doing things the right way and not forcing themselves upon the rest of us.
I think recent polls found that 87% of Americans want the DACA kids to be able to stay in the US. You’re the fringe on this issue, not me.

DACA is dead.
No one even talking about it now. Not a priority.

Yup. The democrats had many, many chances to give DACAs amnesty but yet they did nothing. During Obama's first 2 years in office, he had a majority democrat senate and congress. He could have rammed through amnesty and crammed it down our throats. If amnesty and DACA are so important to dems, then one has to ask why they didn't do anything about it when they had the chance.

One reason it never happened is because every time amnesty is proposed, voters jam the phone and fax lines on Capitol Hill and their message is a resounding "NO".

They had to be 16 or younger in 2007 to be daca eligible...

11 years later, the oldest of them are 27... most are over 18

When you say 87% don't mind daca kids being in the US, yes the few of them left under 18 is fine being in the US. The rest of them are now adults and have "overstayed" their "daca"

The D"eferred" action for childhood arrivals, it is no longer deferred since they are not minors. How are they any different than their parents for overstaying their visas? No difference, they commit the same crime as their parents

Or did they fail to understand that "deferment" is not a permanent exemption in the English language?

If that flies, I want to "defer" my taxes until they are permanently exempted
