Mexicans and South Americans are fleeing political and economic turmoil in their countries just like the first settlers in America. In many cases the first immigrants were welcomed by the native Americans.

Just because we didn't have immigration laws means jack. Ever heard of unjust laws? Did you know slavery was once legal in this country?

And still is by prisoners as per the 13th. And yes, it means a lot especially when there were no legal borders or structure to a country. Redundant ridiculous argument

Come on ....

That is inane and childish and I suspect you know that.

If you truly think that unfettered access to a country, laws be damned, is in the national interest, then make a fist and explain why you think that. Make your points.

I doubt anyone here will agree with you, but a mature, reasoned argument comes across better than child-minded nonsense.

Not having immigration laws hundreds of years ago means no borders, no government and everyone had the right to migrated to those places.

What's unjust about our modern day immigration laws where we do have established borders, countries and governments? All countries have them and are internationally recognized.

Borders are not unjust nor equal to slavery.

Do you wish to revert the welfare state back to where we were at the time of the first settlers? What you earned is what you had, and new immigrants largely were not recipients of shared wealth in a nation with borders in the form of welfare.

As it stands, new immigrants are here for the wealth of those that reside here. Keeping the bottom class population heavy is how you never see an increase living standards and how the elite class remains unchallenged.

The history of the world has been conquer or be conquered. Even Indians fought other Indians and stole their land. It's always about resources. I understand Millennials didn't learn history so I forgive their ignorance. They were taught everyone is a winner.
