The sanctuary city and census lawsuits will be discussed by San Diego County Supervisors in a closed session meeting on April 17. One wonder's what the San Diego County Supervisors fear from the public.

Will the San Diego Supervisors who already secretly oppose SB 54 and already fully cooperate with ICE on deporting criminal aliens, publically help OC and the Federal government (DOJ) fight SB 54 or do they fear being called a bad name?

We shouldn’t be a sanctuary state, the state is breaking the law by making it so, just the like illegals did by coming across the border. The law is the law, simple as that.

Illegal is illegal, and they should get any help from our government as they are costing us tax payers millions if not billions of dollars a year in social services which should be going towards low income Americans FIRST..

I’m Mexican American and for the longest time I supported DACA and illegals, but after seeing the side effects of illegal immigration and how much of a strain not only it puts on the system, but the housing crisis. They shouldn’t get priority over US citizens, it’s completely unfair and wrong. So many section 8 and low income housing in SD is filled with not only Mexican immigrants legal and I’m sure illegal, but a major overload of Middle-Eastern ones and now North Africans. It’s like where is all the poor white trash living in SD? Who knows. And how and why is our government allowing for such a thing?

Skip the fax numbers. When was the last time you sent or received a fax? I'll bet most people on this forum don't even know what a fax is.

The arrogant California politicians think they’re above federal law. You have that idiot attorney general Becerra filing lawsuit after lawsuit. The guy seems like a publicity hound, in my opinion.

What can we expect when the California senate president pro tempore has admitted some of his family are illegal? His loyalties certainly don’t appear to lie with US citizens.

I really hope they publicly stand against it. If they are secretly against it, they should be open about it. I'm tired of city governments fearing blowback from the activist groups and the minority that are for this crap. They need to man up and just show their true stance.

In the case of Los Alamitos, Becerra actually said that local jurisdictions must follow state law, yet California feels they can violate federal law??? WTF. These guys are out of their minds.

This is San Diego Politics!
They will get it wrong and will do so in spectacular fashion as we always do
We can't do anything right in this town and this will be no different.

Ask yourself what is behind the ruining of California with protection of illegals? Who is fueling the fools?
The communist. Same with gun control marches. Who is paying for all those anti Constitution clowns to be in Washington? The communists.
And you thought all that went away when the wall came down in Germany?
Jerry Brown and his girlfriends should be in prison for violating our countries laws.

Don't think so? Think more.

This blows my mind.

Amazing that Becerra can publicly stand at a podium and chastise/villainize Los Alamitos and OC for refusing to enforce the state's illegal laws, and instead pledge to follow federal law. The gall of that guy.
