Here's another chart showing the monthly breakdown.

I think I will believe Homeland Security's stats over your source.

What are you talking about? They're both from the DHS and don't contradict each other. My chart simply includes the monthly figures.

Yes, they do. DHS said that there has been a 203% increase in illegal entry since March of 2017. You are claiming otherwise.

Weepy Spanish speaking reporter on CNN last night, interviewing Spanish speaking grandmother with three infants, her grandchildren, explained the kids mother WAS ALREADY IN CALIFORNIA and expected them to be allowed to ride the bus into Sacramento, or where ever, to join the mother. These people are magicians with no visible means of support.**
No skills, no ability to speak English, no mention of a male working to support them. Why shouldn't they stay in Mexico which arranged their transportation to the border?
** Oh, of course, how silly of me, 326 million americans pay taxes, there should be plenty for these people. Take it from the productivity of the DACA millions.

Why are we posting and looking at graphs here and making excuses?
The number of people sneaking in across the border should be ZERO.

There are many countries in the world that lock up trespassers in terrible prisons. Others look at people coming across their borders without permission as spies and they are either locked up or killed while others look at illegal aliens as people to be exploited.

What is it with the USA and parts of Europe that put out the Welcome mat?

Bleeding heart liberals and so-called progressives still think the poem on the Statue of Liberty trumps our immigration laws in this modern day and age. It was a whole different word back then when we were in need of nation builders, had far less population and plentiful jobs and resources for everyone. Not so today.

The Democrats want endless new voters who will vote for them based on their socialistic agenda, pandering to an ethnic group of citizens for votes and then there is the cheap labor that fills the pockets of the greedy employers who in turn grease the palms of our corrupt politicians who put American citizens last. It's a sad, sad world we live in today where our immigration laws are ignored in favor of greed.

My problem with this is that I don't really know what it means, but it sounds good. So I fear this is more talk and not action from the Trump administration. I would like some conservative reporter to actually investigate. Find out from the legal community if the case numbers are going up. Find out if it is really being enforced or it is just a good show for midterms. I don't want to hear DHS stats because clearly they can be "made up".

Dude. Those are the official DHS numbers. Here's the link on the DHS website where that chart comes from. https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/sw-border-migration

The article you linked said the "Trump Administration" said 203%. If you can't defend his number then Trump is lying. But that wouldn't exactly be a stretch now, would it?

Trust me, the whole point of calling out the National Guard is to fill empty prison cells, nothing more. Trump doesn't give a damn about national security, only money.

I don't think anyone understands what you are saying.
The National Guard components being called up can't arrest anyone to put in cells.
Empty Prison Cells? FTW? Search "prison overcrowding" please.
Your last sentence has no origin and no point, and isn't even able to be called an opinion, it's just a textual bubble.

Come again? Having a little trouble understanding English, do you? My arguments are well supported. Go back and look at my data and read my links.

As far as the National Guard goes, if they can't arrest people then what will their function be there? Just shoot them?

As far as your alleged "prison overcrowding", apparently you don't know anything about it.

"The number of people incarcerated in federal prisons has declined substantially in recent years. In fact, while most states enacted reforms to reduce their prison populations over the past decade, the federal prison system has downsized at twice the nationwide rate. But recently enacted policy changes at the Department of Justice (DOJ) and certain Congressional proposals appear poised to reverse this progress." (You know, like arresting Mexicans.)
