Congrats from the East Coast, we are proud of your County , and Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and all others that are taking a stand against your lawless state leaders.

Probably because their economy is dependent on migrant labor.

There is nothing wrong with enforcing immigration law I dont feel. I am so happy to see parts of California standing up for themselves.

this is the problem. both parties don't want to enforce the law if their donors are making money out of them

Orange County. Home of the John Birch Society. What a surpise. But who will cut the grass on all those million dollar lawns?

Is anyone here pro-sanctuary? I would like to hear the arguments in favor, because I can’t think of any.

I'm not "pro-sanctuary" but I can understand some of the reasons behind it. When it comes to reporting crimes, working with the police, and being part and involved with the local community I can see the point of some sanctuary policies.

LuvSouthOC ~ I grew up in the Huntington Beach area and have lived in Idaho for going on 5 years. I am getting very tired of the negative and unfair comments from people about the "Californians" when they actually have no clue how hard many Californians work to enjoy the environment and the lifestyle. Currently I am watching some amazing political changes in places like the city of Orange, the city of Fountain Valley and the city of Huntington Beach protesting against sanctuary state status. Right on my friends! Watching so many of you speaking up at these city council meetings is incredibly inspiring. Dont stop holding out! I feel like the voice of the people is getting stronger because of it and more cities will follow;-)

1. That group started in 1958. This is 2018.
2. We don't have grass in southern California.
