Soooo Basically why do we even have a border?

All that any migrants need to do is organize into a large group and bum rush the border claiming asylum?

I can't imagine this working the other way. Imagine a downtrodden group of Americans that are sick of the crime in their neighborhood and there are few jobs that lead to opportunity and a better life. What if this group made a move to get into Mexico or even Canada?

The caravan is a a nightmare for Trump and anyone else that believes it is important to enforce our immigration laws and our borders.
Imagine if the caravan of "mostly women and children" were prevented from entering the US and with no where else to go they were forced to set up a tent city at the border. What a publicity mess.

I don't know what is worse, these poor people having to make the treacherous journey or the do gooders in this country that are encouraging them?

Their cases have to be heard and just the fact that they are demanding the US over Mexico should be a solid reason to ship them back.

CNN had a 'heart tugging' piece on the migrants this morning, showing scenes of them asleep in their sleeping bags right at the Mexico/US border gate in San Ysidro.

I don't understand how you waive around another countries flag while demanding entry into the US.

Easily when you have a certain political party in the US telling you you're entitled to it and another that does nothing but talk.

I saw no flags among the people at the border. Which flag are you talking about? These people are not Mexicans.

Honduras, and that's the flags they are waving on both sides.

The views from the videos this morning showed no one waving a flag. And the Hondurans are only a part of the caravan.

from the article
By foot, bus and train, members of the caravan journeyed through Mexico since leaving the southern border city of Tapachula on March 25 with the goal of reaching the Tijuana-San Diego border. Most are from Honduras and tell of gang violence and extortion back home.

Dont come to the border illegally. Aslo showing up at the border is not how you seek asylum.
