Treat them with same immigration rules as their country of origin. Those politicians that support them coming here - set up the housing next door to them and make sure the children of any immigrants go to the same schools as the politicians children and grandchildren supporting the 'invasion'.

There will be no fix until the misguided allowing it are subject to the consequences of their irresponsible policies - UP CLOSE and personally.

Someone in public office needs to hammer this message home loud and often.

They're starting to trickle through to get processed, slowly but surely.

What a 'wonderful' message that sends. So much for the news not long ago that suggested illegal immigration to America was actually decreasing.

Build the all to stop this illegal invasion.

We should not allow one single person to cross the border without proper paperwork.

A border is a border, no border no country and no laws.

It is illegal to come into our country like this.

We should not pay for their attorneys, medical care, detention, food, housing etc because they illegally came across the border.

Close the border, no one in period.

Unfortunately, most of those in public office in California, led by Jerry Brown, are encouraging and welcoming illegal aliens through our southern border straight into San Diego.

We are so ready for a Republican Governor (never thought I would be feeling this way).

You do understand that the folks from these caravans are AT a WALL, correct? They are seeking legal asylum. They aren't here in our country. Read much?

Eight people (out of hundreds) whom have been processed. Processed isn't "illegal".

Agreed. The behavior of these masses is rude and entitled... just what we need in our country. And millions will keep on coming because of the example they are seeing at our border. We are past full capacity, especially in California with the worst housing crisis in its history and a huge homelessness problem. Even a lifeboat sinks when it becomes overcrowded.

The newest buzzword: asylum. What a neat way to enter the US with financial help and resettlement (inexpensive housing), while ignoring the citizens who are paying for all of this... ummm...what ISN'T wrong with this picture?

If anyone deserves refugee status, it's the displaced people of Syria, whom I would have no problem with reaching out to help. I am sure their gratitude would be infinite.
