You do know that there are several highways, etc. that link the U.S. directly to Mexico, right?
Have you bothered to watch some of the videos of what is going on, they are climbing over the existing fence type wall, so a wall would stop that part of their invasion.

Laura Ingraham just reported that Central American politicians encourage their poor to leave because they will wire money back to their home countries tax free. It's billions of dollars. Some countries get 17% of their GDP that way. We need to tax those remittances to make this less desirable.

A friend goes to Honduras for vacation and says it's paradise. Retired Australians and New Zealanders are abundant because it's cheap to live and the natives are friendly.

Homeless people can live better there than here because fruit grows all over the place and they can fish for food. He said many just hang hammocks and seem quite happy.

As for gangs, the gangs the refugees claim to fear are the same ones in the US.

These are economic refugees. They want money, iPhones, free handouts.

Oh, they've learned. Schools don't ask for citizenship so they'll get free meals and an education for their kids. If you think about it that's huge. It was our biggest expenditure next to housing. SD Unified also feeds everyone for free in the summer now. Food covered, school covered. That's 2 out of 3 the tax payers are picking up. It's no wonder they are flocking here.

That little boy dead on the beach? His parents were safe and lived just fine in Turkey. He died because the west (Angela Merkel, Sweden) incentivized benefits hoppers like his terrible and irresponsible parents.
OMG. Not human. Not human. Shame on you.

I'm watching the videos. They are not climbing over. They are sitting atop and protesting. Are YOU watching? "So a wall would stop that part of their invasion." LMAO! According to your own post it doesn't. They're climbing right on over according to your post. This is insanity. The wall is either working or it's not in the Southern California area. Choose.

1982 Plyler v Doe. REAGAN years, for the record. All children are entitled to a public education, regardless of citizenship or immigration status.

We need a real wall, not the fake cheap arse ones they built before.

At least 30 people from the illegal immigrant caravan had already been arrested for jumping the border as of Monday morning, border sources told The Washington Times, and the government filed the first criminal charges against them later in the day.

One group included nearly 20 people, while others attempted to sneak over in smaller groups, one source said.

Agents nabbed them and confirmed they were part of the caravan thatís been traversing Mexico for more than a month. MORE

Chicago Public Schools feed every child up to age 18 in the summers, breakfast and lunch, as well. Walk in. No questions asked. They've been doing that for a long time.

And we all know Mexico's economy is enhanced by $22 billion annually because of remittances from illegals in the US to Mexico.

Yay, Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson, too.

Bravo! The wall WOULD make it next to impossible to traverse, unless a person is a real-life Spider-Man.

There should be 10,000 more Border Patrol agents in place, and let the National Guard assist the Border Patrol until the wall is built.

Isn't is sad that other countries do not respect our borders? I wonder how that came about....

Damn them. Here in Dallas we find a way to feed children (legal, illegal, or simply poor) over the summer, weekends, and holidays. We're disgusting that way.
