Let me see now, I'm Hungarian and need TP (in hungarian vecepapir) I sure as hell would look up the word in English real quick and would not depend on a sign being in Hungarian to suit my personal needs. Learn English FAST or suffer the consequences. Stefhen

Well, there you are, displaying your attitude/problem. "little (NO) tolerance . . . " No ****! Couldn't tell from your posts. But diversity is a part of life, like it or not. Mexico is a diverse culture that is tolerant of, and accepts, a lot of people and their differing likes and dislikes. In a couple of weeks, the town be hosting the Rosarito to Ensenada (45 mile) bike race (bicycle) and will have about 7 to 10,000 enthusiasts from a variety of countries visiting us. They (mostly) like different music, but are equally entertaining to watch!

There's a hotel down the road with a ballroom and band for those of you too old to accept and enjoy the youth of today .

Being in the Grocery/Inventory owner for 23 yrs can express a little knowledge of the trade. Chain stores have a flexable policy depending on the needs of their customers. Depending on the ethnic group of customers they will CATER accordingly to that particular group percentage wise. Example, if the neighborhood has a large percentage of Hispanics, they may have internal store signs in Spanish or over the PA system speaking in Spanish, large bins of Pinto beans, large selection of hispanic items. On the other hand a black neighborhood could have chittlins or hogs head in the meat dept. Each store will vary on its own individual needs for the peoples ethnicity. I noticed one store (nameless) that conversed a lot in Spanish over the intercom and a slight reduction in white shopping there. Later they changed to speaking English and the white started to return. As for me, if a store is advertising a special over the intercom in a language that I do not understand (catering to hispanics) then I sure as heck am not interested in that product. Noticed K-Mart doing this lately. Stefhen

Can we not enslave the illegals and let Target have then to do the dirty work for free? That way we can reward a corporation for doing the right thing, putting the signs in english

Of course, no country has the intolerance of racism like the U.S. Oh and there are still some in the U.S who still don't accept diversity. Lou Dobbs made the headlines again with this "Cotton...." statement. Who's to know what he was going to say next . Too bad he caught himself.
