There has been a lot of rhetoric here in this forum, lot of whining and blaming, but no real achievements.
Let's get down to brass tacks, where's the hard evidence depicting Americans attempting to take the jobs back from the illegals? Grab a bunch of Americans and head to the companies that hire illegals then apply for those jobs, thus putting the illegals out of work. If the company denies an American the job, sue them.
Seems pretty easy to me, so where are the pictures of Americans lining up? I want to see Americans out picking strawberries.
An American who may gather the balls to stand on the street corner that their forebares built brick by brick shouldn't have to stand in line BEHIND an illegal border jumper for work.
Illegals didn't MIRACULOUSLY show up one day for work and it's all clockwork! AMERICANS held those jobs before they got here and BEFORE the manual labor jobs were shipped overseas and south of the border.
There was a workable migrant worker plan BEFORE they all started jumping the fence. Bracero Program which could have been UPDATED and REFORMED TO 21st CENTURY STANDARDS if our government was on their job instead of loafing off.
Except for all the illegals that would beat the crap out of the first white boy to try and join them...
Where does this type of thinking come from? They will beat the crap out of the first white boy to try and join?? If they are illegal they are not going to want to draw attention to themselves period.

I tend to believe GuyP in this case........BTW, he is a 'Hispanic' in the legal sense so he may 'know' things that you and I do not.
No, sassyone, your assessment would not be true in the slightest in Los Angeles, ground zero for illegals. This is a so-called "sanctuary" city wherein ICE is not allowed to do its job, and the police legally are prevented from even questioning the legal status of apprehended criminal suspects, in Special Order 40. Illegals here are so far away from your belief of attention-shunning that here, they are bullies. During the pro-criminality demonstrations of the last years, friends of mine who don't look hispanic had eggs thrown at them at bus stops by the placard and Mexican flag-wavers. My neighborhood suffers both physical and vocal abuse from illegals, as well as property damage. My guess about anyone who defends people like this is that they are fortunate enough never to have lived with them, as I do.

Hmmm, I would have thought we would have seen that in Arizona, since we are so close to the border

Other than the city of phoenix - we are not a sanctuary state - and the City of Phoenix got blasted so bad (the Mayor) that Gordon has take a 180 on his positions - and now the Phoenix PD is having their officers federally trained and sworn - as has Pima County Sheriff and Tucson PD

I did not know that Phoenix was a sanctuary state, thank you for the information. I hear other states having certain problems, but when in Oregon I saw that they pretty much stayed under the radar, but times could have changed there too.

Phoenix is not a "state" - it is a city. And, it WAS a santuary city - not any more. Nor, is Arizona a santuary state - just the opposite

Sorry, I meant to say city.
