just lock up, for 4 months (let their speedy trial act run, no bail bond, no convictions) 10,000 guys who house or hire illegals. Pay, not just "offer" $200 each rewards for snitching out such employers and landlords and you'll know about them all in a month! After you very publicly, in every state, lock up the 10k, send "cease and desist or else" letters from DOJ to the remainder. With no income and no housing, the illegals will have no choice but to line up to get on our otherwise useless surface navy, to get dropped on the beaches of their home countries. Tough stuff what happens to them afterward. They should never have come here. Wth made them "think" that they could get away with it?

30 million of them gone, that's 10 million less votes for the Dems. They'll never again hold power. What's the point of a wall, when half of them fly here, and if you could stop them coming, there's still 30 million too many of them already here!

There's no chance to get a law passed which would authorize this. However, private interests could do it. It would be great advertising for any business that participates.

it can be done under existing law. It's felony to hire or house illegals. Such people will be getting off superlight after committing such harmful crimes vs the US taxpayer. Nobody would end up with a conviction, even, and we'll be saving 1/2 trillion $ a year that we currently waste on these parasites. ALL illegal immigrants are criminals, since they all broke our laws to be here. Most are felons, since it's a felony to overstay a visa, or to return here after having been deported.

The wall is still necessary because not everybody sneaking across the border is coming here to work. Many are coming here to do harm.

so what? we've got plenty of domestic trouble makers, too. The wall would require anti tunneling devices and a rifle man every 1/4 mile, flares or night vision and you'd have to SHOOT people or it would be ignored, crawled over or dug under. It will cost a trillion $ and take 10 years to build, due to all the resistance, EPA, blah blah. it's never going to happen. All you have to do is shoot an arrow and a line over something, loop it, use the line to pull a cord, use the cord to pull a climbing rope, send up a guy who can do Prusik climb, and he take a rope ladder with him for every body else.

Ridiculous.

Having a wall wouldn't mean any such thing.

I've told this story before and will tell it again for those who didn't see it before. A few years back, our daughter and son-in-law went to a job fair held by the BP. The agent they talked to didn't mince words. They were told that if they got hired, they would be on the graveyard shift and would be the only agent around for 70 miles. If they needed backup, none would be coming anytime soon.

Having a wall means hiring less personnel. Besides, the wall won't continually run from San Diego to Tijuana. it will cover 700 miles of the border. It won't be in areas that are impassable.

I don't understand why some are terrified at the idea of a wall. Other countries have walls along their borders. Why shouldn't the US have a wall, too? Sure, walls can be breached. However, a wall will deter most.

Yes, we do have plenty of "domestic troublemakers". Why would anyone want to add more to the population?

Whatever the wall will cost, it will be money well spent. If you don't think so, read about those who live on the border. They tell of being terrorized by illegals who trample on their property.

As for concerns about the environment---those who claim to be concerned are hypocrites. Every day, illegals dump trash on fragile desert eco-systems and we don't hear a peep about that from the so-called environmentalists.

This has puzzled me for a long time now.

If one of us citizens carelessly drops so much as a gum wrapper at the Grand Canyon we can be prosecuted and fined, but illegals strew their filth in huge amounts in our desert areas without a peep from "environmentalists".

Seems like the Wilderness Society types are so afraid of being called the dreaded word "racist" if they call attention to the illegals trashing the Nation.

Hypocrites all!

are you kidding me OP? With the way the Left is embracing illegal aliens and the way they are attacking anyone that opposes their presence I foresee boycotts and violence against business and people that blow the whistle on them.

There are those on the Left that oppose the rule of law, they oppose and are calling for ICE to be disbanded and they are calling the Police an enemy of the people.

It is insane and even more so when you consider that we have Trump who is opposed to illegal immigration.
Imagine the insanity we would now be facing if Hillary had won? Can anyone say amnesty for 20 million, a pathway to citizenship and open borders for anyone seeking asylum?
