I could not give you any Rep's until I spread it around, but consider 2 Reps.
I believe you are right on why they do not really want to discuss it. It is much easier to sit on the fence(no pun intended) and agree with both sides so as to not offend anyone.

Apples and oranges, people don't spend 50 plus hours a week working their butts off to rob banks.

Yep. Only if they're smart and they actually plan on "getting away" do they plan ahead

The liberal media wasn't about to get behind Tancredo. Those candidates that the liberal media favor always seem to win. The sheeple wait around for the media to tell them who to vote for.

I think it's even more than that. Politicians get big bribes I mean donations from the CEOs of big corporations and obviously the CEOs want cheap labor, the more desperate the better. Desperate workers make for submissive workers who won't ask questions, won't report to OSHA and raises never need to be given when workers live in fear that the boss will just order up some more truckloads of illegals.

I seriously doubt that the politicians for some reason just care about the poor downtrodden citizens of some other country when they obviously don't care about their own fellow citizens, but there are also some pretty sweet deals to make with the elites of Mexico that makes not offending or standing up to them the expedient thing to do.
