I am VERY grateful for the things I have. I am WELL AWARE of how we 'stand' in relation to the rest of te world (having been to some of it myself). And I SELDOM take things for granted. I know also, that as much as we're 'disliked', people obviously still want to come here and partake of what we have. MILLIONS do so, with our 'blessings', and we're happy to welcome them aboard.
I don't see what ANY of this, though, has to do with illegal immigration..which is not only illegal, it's a 'slap in the face' at the laws of this country, (the system of laws by which we were ABLE to become 'great)...AND, it's a slap at at anyone who has, or would LIKE to, come here legally. Can't I be a "good" person, and still be AGAINST illegal immigration?...or is that just not possible?..

Whoa...hold on there. There are rules. If these "poverty stricken" people want to come here--then let them do it legally. I have no problem with legal immigrants. Its the criminals who sneak over here illegally, and then think the laws dont apply to them.
Even that -- well I think only those people who wish to be Americans can learn the language of this country and wish to learn it, who wish to fit in and become a part of this country should be allowed to do so.
It shouldn't be only about money or welfare handouts, even if they have ways to come legally, if they don't wish to adapt or cannot adapt to our ways then let them stay home.
The bad thing about everyone packing up to go, even if they're arriving here legally is that it doesn't make for "that better life" in their home countries. Then massive immigration becomes an endless spiral.
At some point the "better life" should be made back home which would benefit far more people. The entire world cannot move to the USA, the entire impoverished populations cannot move to the USA, it would be far more practical for people to stay and work for reform and change the cultural and political reasons for their poverty.
Instead of all moving to the USA, why don't they look at what has made Americans more successful and put those practices into place there in their own country? Then the whole world improves.
They came here for a better life, but at the rallies they say "White people should go back to Europe." How the hell would they get all their services paid for if this country became Mexico again? They cant leach off eachother because they make no money, and if all the people making money leave, then what will they do? Them and their racist ideas that make no sense!

Being that most Latinos are White or at least part--------using their own rhetoric------they need to go back to Europe as well.
And; those few 'full blood' Indians left, who wish to remain, need to have all of the things (cars, modern medical care, their knowledge of English/Spanish [White man languages], etc.) 'stripped' from them.
Sorry; MEChA hypocrites, we ain't going nowhere-------besides, many of our indigenous people (Navajo, etc.) look upon Aztecs, etc. with contempt.

I would too if I received tax free money, and wanted my family to join me.
You'd ALSO work harder if you knew that if your boss got really MAD at you, he could not only FIRE you...he could get you in trouble with the "Feds". Boy, does THAT keep the job-site "griping" down to a minimum !...
