The wall is dumb bc it won't work AND bc it will disrupt a lot of wildlife habitat.

I completely support the sentiment, though.

There already is proof that the good walls work so I don't understand your statement. Even the Border Patrol and Homeland Security say they do. I think I will believe the evidence I have seen myself and those on the front lines rather then just someone's mere opinion. I also value human life over wildlife and I see no evidence that a partial wall endangers them.

May stop a few random coyotes and asylum seekers, but Will not stop drugs from getting in
We have no wall around Florida and drugs get in here nightly via the beach.

It will however help stop those economic migrants from getting into our country to steal jobs, taxes and resources from Americans.

also they come in through legal ports of entry ... rails and aircraft ... and interesting enough, u.s. families that live on the southern side of the boarder wall, will have to ask government permission to come and go from their property.

if people can petition to speak before congress and potus, they ought to give that a whirl.

E-Verify is not the answer as thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens are employed by employers who hire them off of the books and pay cash. E-Verify cannot catch them. Every wonder why so many of them do lawn mowing and landscaping? Cash business.

Walls work everywhere they are used, including on our border. San Diego saw a 95% drop in apprehensions after fencing was built there. https://www.npr.org/templates/story/...toryId=5323928

Yuma, Arizona saw a 96% drop after a wall was built there. https://www.foxnews.com/us/it-works-...y-impenetrable

El Paso, Texas saw an 89% drop after its wall was built. https://nypost.com/2018/01/13/we-alr...-and-it-works/

Look what happened after Israel fenced it's border with Egypt.

Work on it started in 2010, finished in 2013, and it's still working just as well as when it was new, in 2018 no illegal migrants got into Israel from Africa. https://www.jewishpress.com/news/glo...18/2019/01/02/

A border wall isn't going to stop all illegal aliens by itself, but it is an important part.

Listening skills, POTUS needs some. The articles addressed the needs of the past ... what are the needs of the present?

Border Patrol Professionals Weigh In On What's Needed: Wall Or Fence
RODNEY SCOTT: Customs and Border Protection has had this systematic plan that we've been acting on for years, building on infrastructure where we believe we need it. And all of a sudden, it got unbelievably political overnight, as opposed to what we're saying that we need.

So he says they have a systematic plan, what it is?

San Diego Sector California

"Today, San Diego Sector is focused on addressing the continuously changing tactics of transnational criminal organizations. Due to increased land border security, transnational criminal organizations have shifted their illegal activities to include the aerial, subterranean, and maritime domains. In order to effectively protect America's borders, Border Patrol agents conduct their enforcement duties on foot, horseback, and mountain bikes, and utilize various types of vehicles including all-terrain vehicles."
______________
Much time has passed between 2006 to the year of 2019; needs change so should POTUS change with the times.
