A little less personal discourse and back to the topic wouldn't hurt--or else this thread will be a goner.

I never stated in this thread or any other, that ALL illegal aliens are violent criminals. Nor did I accuse anyone of not wanting him deported. Rather, I stated that many illegal alien apologists rather than admit that these violent criminals need to be deported, ‘make excuses’ to justify said behavior. Generally, the ‘justification’ is that we have U.S. citizens who also commit violent crimes.
I reiterate..... ALL ILLEGAL ALIEN VIOLENT CRIMINALS NEED TO BE APREHENDED, DEPORTED, and PREVENTED FROM RETURNING. It’s tantamount to saying that all U.S. citizens who are violent criminals need to be apprehended and incarcerated. Quite different from saying all U.S. citizens are violent criminals. Now, do YOU get it?
Irrespective of immigration status, race or ethnicity -- these senseless killings need to stop! Can we at least agree on this?

I disagree. We trained and educated this guy...not the Mexicans. He has been here at least since he was 4 maybe always. He is ours. I think in fact the probablility that this guy will ever walk free is vanishingly small. But it is the US that needs to deal with him.
We should not send our dirty linen to Mexico because we can. We should deal with it ourselves.
Now a grown Mexican who comes to the US and commits an offense? Off to Mexico. I would not even jail him for a minor crime...just ship him out.

I agree.
For the record; an 'American' rapper, who happened to be a Black man was convicted of a crime--------then deported back to the UK. He was born there.
Evidently he came here as a child but never received US citizenship hence his booty being shipped back to England.
The same protocol should apply to that loser who murdered Jamiel.

However, they can send their 'dirty linen' (by the millions) here. I have a problem with that.

Why? Few illegals are criminal. More economic escapees. If our murderer is dirty linen these are fine, clean utility clothes.

Obviously, we differ in our definition of "few." The last sentence doesn't warrant a response.

All illegal immigrants are lawbreakers by definition----------and, if they use false SSN's, etc. we are getting into felonies now.

The vast majority are treated by the government as administrative violations. You can claim whatever you wish but it is not treated as a criminal matter. It therefore is not one.

Eolecapt, if that's the case, we need to release some prisoners, pronto. There are thousands of U.S. citizens currently incarcerated for identity theft and various categories of fraud. If our government has reclassified these offenses as 'administrative violations' it is certainly an egregious miscarriage of justice not to release those serving time, and expunge their criminal records.
