Yeah indeed, 'tis what she says. They came, but before they stepped foot in this country to rest their feet on free soil, they had to be screened and "allowed" into the country. In other words, they had to get here legally. I do not believe that they ever considered just allowing the boats to land anywhere along our shores and just come right in. The other thing is that these people were coming to America to be Americans and forge a new life. Most became proud patriots and American's, learned the language and applied their trade.

Seems that many Mexicans are coming here to earn money, they have no desire to become "American" and they demand that we adapt to their language and support their national heritage. I just got a problem with that! Seems like most Americans see this and just don't like it... can't imagine why!?

I know alot of people who live in Compton and South Central. There are about 500 Sureño Hispanic gangs in Los Angeles County representing over 50% of the gang memberbership. If you factor in gangs which are primarily white, black, or asian--that still leaves the Hispanic gangs in the majority and entire communities living in fear.

Considering L.A.'s sanctuary city status, what percentage of the 500 Sureño Hispanic gang membership is composed of illegal aliens?

Personally, I don't know, but I do know that if they were not in this country, law enforcement's job would suddenly become a bit more manageable.

Suffice to say: if California started placing anti illegal immigrant politicos in power--------once a few got 'taken out' by law enforcement, most of the gangbangers would flee the state.

I agree totally with you and my heart goes out to this young man's family. I live in Los Angeles, Korea Town area and I truly feel that as far as our local gov. goes if you are not Rich or an illegal alien then you just do not matter.
