I agree totally with you and my heart goes out to this young man's family. I live in Los Angeles, Korea Town area and I truly feel that as far as our local gov. goes if you are not Rich or an illegal alien then you just do not matter.

Frankly, judging by the responses of the pro illegal crowd,I can't believe that anyone would ever want to leave that bastion of paradise, crime free and full of friendly folks country known as Mexico for this god forsaken nest of murder, xenophobia, and where 'illegals are treated like animals' (still waiting an explanation for that one)......

Sorry, don't buy it, don't buy any of it. He is a criminal. If he is an illegal deport his ass out of the country, and while we're at it check his families credentials too. Hey, maybe if gangbangers and their entire families get deported perhaps more parents would get involved in their kids lives and stop them before they join a gang. YOu guys do it all the time. He is a product of the US school system. The only evidence that he is an illegal is a statement from a relative that he might have been brought from Mexico at 4.

The fact that this guy has an immigration hold on him speaks volumes. That is something that is not generally done unless Immigration is pretty sure they have a valid reason.

Au contraire--that is policy and not a political gesture. Putting an immigration hold on a person for political show leaves plenty of room for future lawsuits. My sister's husband's brother is a Border Patrol agent. He says that the guy is definitely illegal. I think I'll go with him rather than a person such as yourself, who is ready to bend over and welcome the invasion of America. BTW, WE didn't mess this guy up. How about a little personal responsibility or are illegal aliens exempt from that particular requirement?
