I apologize to those of you who may be members of the generation of which I spoke, but are not inclusive in sharing the over abundance of racist attitudes and sentiments that continue to manifest themselves since Obama was elected. The racist ignorance, vitriol and hatred that I continue to read here and on other forums has gone far beyond any level of human tolerance.

By the way Obama's press conference was a solid 8 out of possible 10. He may have scored a ten if he announced Biden would not be his VP after all.
On to the thread.
What we need is what Obama says he will do. Go after the economy, get the troops out of Iraq, and reach accross party lines. End partisan politics.
Good luck with that last one. Pelosi would need to go before that will ever happen.
Regardless of race Black, Hispanic or white we need to end the partisan deadlocks that cripple dc.
Sorry for the generality of my statement re: old white Americans. As for what you said about everything but Biden, ITA.

Sorry, but I have a mad crush on Joe Biden.

So sad to hear that.
Biden is a complete fraud. He may hang out at home depot but he is wrong.

I agree with you. It's discusting to me too. But if you notice, some of this has been brought up in non-race based threads where trolls join in using "direct ethnicities" and trying to sway the issue into what it's not and provoking attacks and racist sounding comments.

I bristled slightly at your outburst as well.............

That stated: I; too am starting to get pissed off at the racist jokes about President-elect Obama.

The man won fair and square-----------which reflects very positively on Black/Mulatto people as a group IMHO.

Ditto. Obama won. He deserves the chance to either prove himself worthy or to fail. So far He has been a class act since winning.

Obama should shake up the good ol boy network. We have needed a new direction and fresh ideas. McCain would be more Bush. And Palin, I wont go there.
