I read somewhere a few days ago our government is funding billboards and bus placards throughout central america advising potential illegals to not waste their time trying to get in. Not sure how effective this will be but its a start in the right direction.
Stopping them at the border is much more effective that letting them roam free and then trying to prosecute anyone who hires them, even if that employer was unaware that they were using a stolen identity.
And that is what The Left says they want us to do.

Really? I hope it's true. They should also do TV commercials and radio announcements.

That's what I have been saying along. Better to deter as many as we can at the border with good physical barriers then to allow them to get in here whereby we have to go after them and their greedy employers. Much more of a headache than securing the border. Not only that but they aren't all coming here to work. Birthright citizenship for their kids and benefits bring them here also. Certainly criminals and terrorists aren't looking for work.
With $8B from Congress to fight the corona virus, this would be a perfect opportunity for Trump to use some of that money to pay for more border security with the excuse of "We can't let infected people come here."
