It's coming out just how unhinged and mentally unstable Trump is about illegal immigration.

"In a report following on the heels of Nielsen's resignation, The New York Times detailed how Trump would call Nielsen at home early in the morning to demand that she "take action to stop migrants from entering the country."

"The news outlet reported that the president would even go so far as to pressure Nielsen to take measures that were illegal to stop asylum seekers from coming to the U.S. border, including "blocking all migrants from seeking asylum."

Trump is an insane idiot. If you don't like the asylum laws, work with Congress to change the law. Don't pressure your staff to break the law. No wonder Nielsen resigned. Who wants to work for an unhinged, deranged boss who asks you to break the law?

Since when is enforcing immigration law a crime? The real crime is congress not plugging the loop holes in the immigration sanctuary laws allowing hundreds if not thousands of low skilled illegal aliens to gain entry into our country.

The only insanity here is the liberal/progressives/democrats and their open border agenda.

Yeah, right! Like that's going to happen. Our country is in trouble because neither party will work with the other.

Trump reportedly asked Nielsen to turn away asylum seekers away at the border. That is a violation of federal law. You can't "enforce the law" by breaking another law. In America it just doesn't work that way, sorry.

Trumpers have to choose. Do they want a dictator or a president?

I want a president who enforces immigration laws and threatens Mexico with consequences for not stopping Central Americans traveling thru Mexico. What I don't want are morons on the left who want open borders.

Many of the best people who worked in this WH have said the same thing: "Laws be damned, I want this done my way".

Can't wait to see the chaff, both personal and physical, which is left once this clown leaves our White House.

Which US law says that we can't turn away asylum seekers or delay their application for asylum based on capacity?

This whole illegal immigration issue was the corner stone of Trump’s election campaign and it’s falling into a shambles. His Great Wall of Trump isn’t going to be built. Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador aren’t going to do anything to improve the situation.

He made an bombastic threat to shut down the Mexican border and then back peddled giving them a year to get their act together. His Mexico is going to pay for the wall was an outright con job on the American people. He can’t get along with his cabinet secretaries. Firings and resignations. Outright fiasco.

Just about everything you listed there has failed or been delayed because of democrat obstruction and the only people who pay the price are Americans who voted to make his plans a reality.
