Well I think the actual giving illegals that were here legality worked.
It was this part that failed:
"It will remove the incentive for illegal immigration by eliminating the job opportunities which draw illegal aliens here. "
What happened to eliminating the job opportunities?
It sounds like you blame the people coming here for that failure?

Illegals have to take SOME of the blame, for goodness sakes. After all, they KNOW they're doing wrong.

Ohhh? At various times the US government was the major promotor of illegal entry. So we have the wonderful dichotomy of doing what the US says to do being OK while doing what the US says to do is not OK. Illegal does work...wrong may not.

No doubt the US government had the means to stop it and did nothing. But that does'nt mean the illegals HAVE to do it, they CHOOSE to do it, they know it is wrong but ignore that little detail they are not mind controlled they know exactly what they are doing and should take their share of the blame.

Please. At various times it was promoted and sponsored by the US Government.
Again it is illegal. Not neccessarily wrong. Wrong is simply to situational.

Please what? It is the truth plain and simple, the Government promotes lots of crap, doesn't mean we just mindlessly follow along what are we robots? Or is that just how you see illegals, mindless robots that ant think for themselves?. Illegal is wrong, what they are doing is wrong. Simple.

I believe there is a formula that makes someone want to go illegal, moral wrong doing holds an insignificant weight to that formula.
Risk/Reward vs Right/Wrong?
