Another example; pregnancy, if a hospital turned away an illegal mother during labor and that baby died...lawyers would put that hospital and its doctors out of business.

Didn't Texas send Mexico a bill once? I think they should have to pay, as well as pay for prisons, schools...etc.

The only thing they should receive for free is a buss ride back to where they came from when they are being deported..

I think that happened...but I heard no more about it. Obviously, Mexico "can't" pay, because that would set a precedent. But the case DID make an interesting point.

Shouldn't the question be "should anyone in this country illegally be able to get free services from a hospital? I certainly wouldn't advocate letting anyone die from lack of care, but there is a difference between getting care and getting care free.

Actually I think they should get emergancy care and then be deported right after they are well enough to leave. This way since we know were they at, round them up and send them out.

Of COURSE it does...and that's a lot of the whole point. Same thing with crime committed by illegals. Whether they 'go free', end up in prison, or go through endless trials and appeals, it STILL costs lots of money AND suffering (by the victims). ALL of these are costs to the American people, no matter which 'side' they're on...And these are ALSO costs that SHOULD be billed to to 'Country of Origin".....

Lawyers should be able to sue other countries for these expenses.
