Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is proposing the “Child Citizen Protection Act;” which if passed, will grant amnesty to illegal aliens with U.S.-born children. He currently has 30 sponsors in the House of Representatives.

The mere anticipation of the passage of this bill, will probably elicit a population explosion, and a massive flood of pregnant women crossing our southern border.

I wonder if a similar bill will be proposed to ‘pardon’ U.S. citizens currently incarcerated for non-violent crimes. After all, don’t their children also need parents? At least the illegal alien parents have the option of taking their children with them if deported.

And we are vilified for calling them “Anchor Babies.”

By this logic, not only should non criminal offenders be pardoned out of the prison system as Benicar suggested, but what about our military personel? Is it fair to their children that their parent(s) could be shipped out to dangerous combat zones at any given notice? True, the parents chose that life for themselves and by default their children as did criminals by choosing a criminal lifestyle, they know they run the risk of being seperated from their children by prison sentences. Illegals know they are breaking the law, know that if caught they will be deported (in theory) but, that is the risk they chose to take on for themselves and their children.
And hey ----- isn't this legislation discriminatory towards illegal immigrants who do not or cannot have children? I wonder how they will address that little problem, oh yes ---general amnesty

If a deal can be struck to marry this with the immediate END to birthright citizenship and NO guest worker program, then maybe it could be plausible.

Another NY senator (which may be the president who brings the antichrist) said "No woman is illegal." A former NY governor (who hopped in bed with jezabels often) wanted to give illegals licenses. Any surprise that a NY senator wants to play bleeding-heart to anchor babies and their parents?

This wont pass. Amnesty bills in the congress haven't passed in this house or senate because the voters have always shot it down. This will be no different. Although you think the congress hasn't represented you because they haven't started deporting people, on the other spectrum they have continuously denied laws that would help illegal immigrants.

And here we go again with the illegal immigrants refusing to take responsibility for their own actions. They knew that when they planted their anchor baby here, they would run the risk of deportation without their kids. SO why are they blaming anyone else except themselves for the mess they created? Its beyond me.

If a robber breaks into a house and his caught, he knew the risk he was taking. If he is taken away from his family, sure they will be hurt, but he broke a law and that shouldn't mean he should avoid punishment. This is the same thing.

One sentence.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS AILENS!

I could not agree more, ArizonaBear!

Obviously Schumer is attempt to ADD incentives for the illegals instead of eliminating them.

OK, then how about "Schumer is an elected official selling out his constituency for money, votes, or both" is that more palatable?
