Steve, wether they like it or not, Hispanics, Latinos, or just south american people are growing faster than any other group in the USA. Is this a problem? Well, whoever is freakin out because of this need to buy a private island. Enjoy your day and God bless America. Hasta la vista babies, lol

I find it interesting that our government includes illegal aliens in the census data -- ergo, the sudden #1 minority status. Even more astounding is their ability to 'count' people they are unable to identify.

Like, duh, if you count them, why don't you put them on a bus, too?

MINORITY status was for African-Americans ONLY - it was not for any other minority that just happened to walk over the border. We do not "owe" them anything, as we DO owe (IMO) African-Americans, because of history.

These people coming over legally or illegally - we don't even HAVE a history with them. Why do they get "minority" status?? For goodness sakes, some are not even legal. A minority of WHAT? Of people coming into a new country? It makes no sense.

Would Latinos like it in Latino countries if the Anglo population were growing faster through illegal mmigration to their countries? I would think not.

The fact is that the Latino/Hispanic population is the fastest growing segment of the American population. The projection is that by 2050, White (Caucasian) Americans will be the minority segment of the population. Latinos/Hispanics, Blacks and Asians will be the majority of the population. At 61 years of age, I certainly won't be around, but my children still may be living at that time, and certainly my grandson who is only 16 today. It will certainly be a brave new world!

That is IF we don't do something about it. Nothing is inevitable - WE make things happen - they don't just occur on their own.

I think cousinsal means 'if' as in copying/pasting Oklahoma's law pertaining to illegal immigrants as a Federal mandate--------and, enforce it rigorously.

Cancel birthright citizenship for as of yet unborn Anchor Babies but grandfather in those already here in the USA.........but, the illegal immigrant parents would still be at risk of deportation.

Bring back the pre 1965 immigration quota system.

Your first proposal is doable, the second proposal is iffy and your third proposal is a non-starter.

Let's say your hypothetical scenario of whites becoming a minority comes to pass. What are your plans?
Your raza sends mixed signals because on the one hand you give us sob story after sob story about the honest, hardworking illegal aliens who want only to provide for their families. You tell us how mean and cruel we are for refusing to allow them to stay in the US and be given citizenship, we are breaking up families, we would do the same thing, etc., etc.
Then on the other hand you, Mach 50, barinnas and blacknight (did I forget anyone?) are salivating at the thought of becoming 'the majority'. Why? I'll answer for you. So you can vote yourselves ever increasing levels of benefits at the expense of everybody else AND you can stick it to 'whitey', the hated gringo.
One of the things that has struck me the most about the hispanic illegal immigration issue is the extreme degree that hispanics support issues that benefit their raza and their raza only. They do not seem to care if their gain is at everyone else's expense. 'This is a bronze continent and we are a bronze people' and so on.

I suspect a fair number of people are on to your game. Why support 'the cause' of a group of people who have no interest in furthering any agenda but their own? And who would love to tax you to penury in order to do so? I don't think the majority of you view the US as anything other than something to be looted. When there is nothing left here you will move on to new territory. Why should any non-hispanic American citizen be in favor of this?
