If these illegal Irish want the privileges that illegal Mexicans get, I say let them EARN them. Want to be treated as well as the Mexicans? Fine..then do like THEY do....WALK HERE. (This MAY result in Irish illegals being henceforth referred to as "wets")...

Not practical: only about one Irishman in about four speaks passable Gaelic

No they should not. We have by far more legal immigration than any other nation in the world. There are plenty of ways for people to come here legally and lawbreakers should not be rewarded for having broken the laws.

The hispanics want them to work with them to "unite" for illegal immigration rights.

Sounds like the Irish have no intention of aligning themselves with the Mexicans or other SOB illegals. I think they probably don't like their methods.

Of course not: every 'dog'* for himself.......reverse the roles and the Latinos would feel exactly the same way.

*Dog referring to a person of any race/ethnicity looking out for #1.

I have Irish blood and I would say to this question, "Absolutely not." Even though they probably are skilled, probably even college degreed and really smart and won't gang-bang -they need to go back to their own country. All illegals do!

No way josay, we need to accomodate the millions of hispanics currently
in the US, and without documents. Then we may consider other
people

accomodate??? If you mean by this deport them one and all who are here illegally then I would agree. I feel we should deport all illegals and permanantly ban them from re-entry.
This would make room for the more deserving immigrants who have respected our laws by applying for visa's and waiting their turn.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Although; I wonder if 'barinnas' was pulling our legs with the above post and not really being serious.
