These people shouldn't have been allowed to get citizenship. They were illegal immigrants hanging out in LA until their citizenship was processed. They need to wait in their own countries.

Point taken.

Remember that once here legally-------many immigrants tend to have a 'change in attitude'------read that they want the gate shut behind 'em.

well LA is a sanctuary city

most of them are probably just illegals being given amnesty

this is definitely the one of the worst thing to happen in LA this year

The reason for the large influx of Immigrants applying for Citizenship stems from the 2007 Ya Es Hora Citizenship Campaign by Spanish Raido and News stations. Most of these people have friends and family members with no papers, that's why most will probably trend Democrat and this what motivated them to become a citizen. In Florida new Latino registration is 80-90% higher for Democrats than Republicans. Immigrants want to shape the immigration debate so those close to them can have papers. This especially goes for Mexican Americans, which have a strong past of supporting Dems. They have huge numbers in SoCal.
