The number of illegal immigrants arrested and deported from Oklahoma and North Texas is on pace to exceed last year's number by 40 percent, the Department of Homeland Security says.

Homeland Security spokesman Carl Rusnok said Thursday that nearly 7,000 illegal immigrants were taken into custody from the start of the fiscal year in October through February. A total of 12,000 were arrested in all of the previous fiscal year.

They need to go after the human traffickers and the employers too -- and that's where the money is, they can shut those operations down by heavy fines.

The next step is to start imposing stiff fines and jail times to the employers of illegals. Too bad we can't fine and jail our politicians who have let this happen, and yes, I am talking about el presidente Jorge himself
