Bravo !!....It's absolutely amazing how "unfair" things can be, if it involves my having to stand in line and wait my turn.......wish I could 'rep' you, just for this delectable 'tid-bit' of wisdom..

Would you expect a rattlesnake not to bite? Approximately half this country believes it's OK to be dishonest. National Cultural Values Survey - liberals and conservatives address the issue of honesty This is the heart of what's been deemed "the culture war". Expecting those people to live up to your honorable expectations is naive. Your best weapon is knowledge and a willingness to discuss why honesty and honor is superior to self-degradation and dishonor.

In regard to the word games being played by the left, I'd like to add a little. It's been implied but not stated explicitly.

Words are created when a new idea is formed. For example, if mankind had never seen water turned to ice, there's be no reason to have the word "ice".

The strategy behind eliminating certain words from our language is to effect our thinking. What if you didn't have the word "ice" and there was no way to express the concept of ice? You couldn't tell anyone else about it... You couldn't communicate because you'd have an inadequate vocabulary to do so.

This is the weapon of the left: Suppression of communication.

The reason communication has to be suppressed is because, in our hearts, as good people, we know the difference between right and wrong. The left wishes to rule our lives in a way inconsistent with our sense of right and wrong. If they can prevent you from communicating your sense of right and wrong, you'll be isolated. Isolation breeds doubt. If you doubt your sense of right and wrong, you're a ship with no rudder and can be lead by them.

By extracting alien from the lexicon, they stop you from communicating your sense of right and wrong... which gives them more power by keeping borders unsecured and allowing more and more people who don't have a sense of honor to come in... which gives them more power...

Great stuff !!....As I've often said (and I've heard it elsewhere), Political Correctness started out in the 60's, sounding "kind", gentle, and 'civilized'...sometimes it was even kind of "clever".

No more, though. Political Corectness has now grown to such proportions, and has succeeded so well in blurring the truth...(and even caused us to FORGET that it's PC at ALL) that now, I'm convinced it's actually altered our ability to communicate clearly. It's not 'cute' anymore, it's dangerous. Many times, we can't even understand each other....and we've assigned MANY 'neutral' words heavily-loaded 'moral' connotations. The result is like a "shouting match" in an insane asylum......and nothing REALLY means what it SAYS..it means what we WANT it to mean.

Excellent post, you just got a rep point. To expound on your points, it all begins in the classroom. Sociology is a mandatory discipline for almost all students in order to get a degree. Yet, in actuality it's a marxist primer teaching impressionable wide eyed 19 year olds concepts such as "relativism", "equality" and "tolerance", liberal codespeak for socialism.

Therefore they have to use misleading and false labels like undocumented immigrant or even just immigrant. After all, no one wants to be mean to immigrants, now do they?

I remember a couple of years ago when there was a huge rally in downtown LA (I was still living there at the time) and the media called it an immigrant rights rally. Why would immigrants be rallying? what rights would they want or need? They're here legally and are citizens like everyone else. Once again, the media let us down and lied to further their agenda. Had they called the rally what it was, a gathering of illegal aliens they wouldn't have gotten too much sympathy.

All I ask for is honesty. Is that to much to expect?
I'm opposed to ALL immigration...even from one state to another. So "legal", "illegal"...it's all the same to me.

Are you opposed to immigration from Palm Beach County to Dade County?
