Reconquista is only true to morons. Mexico, within its own problems, has no where near the resources to take over a country. Let alone part of the U.S.

I don't know if any of you know this but the word reconquista means to win back and can also be applied to relationships. They could have been talking about maybe winning back a girlfriend because that's usually what it is used for in spanish.

I hear reconquista talk quite often. And you can read in the Mexican newspapers their boasting of how they now control the outcome of USA elections.

The recent Mexican protests and boycotts were all about reconquista. Mexicans are insisting they are not obligated to respect the laws of the USA and can come here illegally and are to be given the full rights of American citizens.

There are illegals coming from other countries but you don't see their presidents demanding that they will be given "the whole enchilada" and you don't see anything close to the kind of interference in our laws by the Mexican government.

Reconquista has nothing to do with those ads. Don't you get the meaning of the ads? Absolut is trying to get Mexicans to drink their vodka. It has nothing to do with immigration, reconquista or what ever the hell you want to call it.

I know that, I'm talking about the map in the background. An 1800's map would not say "In an Absolut world".
