Well, this is a given statement but, when jobs are seasonal as in construction they always have a fall back onto something else. This is what you don't get and if all these jobs are taken then, there are no fall backs. You don't realize some people will do several different jobs as seasons change. Or hours are cut back.
The blue collar worker is very flexible and always will figure out how to make money.
So by your statement, you don’t have a steady occupation as it changes based on the seasons or hours and you want employers to hold all jobs for you? So what is an employer supposed to do when your primary occupation, if it is construction, picks up, are they supposed to keep your position vacant? Do they close up and wait for you to come back? Do you prefer they hire someone and then let them go when it’s convenient for you to come back? Is that fair to the other employee or the employer? Or should it be done because it’s fair to you?

No it is true, in the colder climates there are parts of construction you cannot do. cannot pour concrete in rain and below certain temps, cannot roof in snow, framing in snow and ice is a no no so is installing trusses, but I am sure some illegals and those that hire dont care. In Oregon, the rain never slowed us down or we would all starve LOL but we scheduled so concrete was already poured.
It is 8 degrees F today in NH and I watched the concrete truck pouring a foundation.
Doesn't sound like they should be pouring concrete.
No they shouldnt, we have a friend here that has been doingconcrete for 30 years, he said, if it is warm mud then they possibly can and there are warming blankets and if they have the right chemicals in it, but if the water freezes before the concrete can cure, they will have multiple cracks. he said he wouldnt allow it on his job or house, but some people do not care about qualtiy.
If they can't respect us and our laws, than why should we respect them?
Are you in grade school? What sort of logic is that? You don't have to agree with the various acts they've commited, but what business do you have in degrading them or 'hating' them? Is it worth the effort?
I guess it's good that your teachers (we've already seen your opinion of them in this sub-forum) don't dislike you and therefore treat you as a second-class student. I guess its good that our government is color blind as well, because we all know about those blacks...

Do unto others. They disrespect us break our laws, so we should just bend over and take it!!!?? And again what is with the Hate being brought into it?. Why is it when you care about your home, country, kids , retirement , everything we have worked for it is seen as hate? " we dont like what you do, but go ahead and keep doing it" yea thats makes sense.

"Some disrespect...." , anyone being continously politically incorrect, is viewed less as a intelligent person and having more of an ignorant mindset.
