and we aint talking about amnesty here. im talking about making sure that the economy does not take a big hit. that steps are put in place to teach citizens the law, and their rights. lots more that you guys can be doing to solve these issues, and propose solutions, but some posters here jsut like to post articles, with no intelligent discourse. just a bunch of parrottin back and forth.

so lets work on solutions to this problem.
Well, that was fun to slog through...seriously. Three little words for you my friend. Spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.

Here are your solutions.

1. Clarify the Fourteenth Amendment. It was ratified to give citizenship to the children of slaves, not foreign nationals. No tempting birthright American citizenship, less pregnant foreign nationals of EVERY ethnicity coming into America in order to give birth to an American citizen.

2. Heavily fine and imprison all employers found to have illegal aliens in their employ.

3. No more benefits for illegal aliens. No citizenship--no WIC, no Medicare, no food stamps, no Section 8 housing, no medical care unless a life threatening emergency is in progress. No more freebies at the expense of American taxpayers--no more impetus to come to the U.S. illegally to live at the expense of hard-working citizens.

4. Legal residency must be proved before bank accounts can be opened and/or homes can be bought or rented.

5. In this computer generation, it is ridiculous to believe that identity theft by Social Security number cannot be tracked. Hold accountable the thieves stealing American identities in order to work illegally in this country.

Five simple steps and Voila! Deportation through attrition and Border Patrol doesn't have to raise a finger. Rewarding lawless behavior is a ridiculous proposition and only opens the door to more lawbreakers hoping for the same reward.

Let’s get one thing straight, Ese -- I am NOT a “homegirl.” If you’re assuming because I’m black I was raised in the “hood” and subscribe to the Ghettofabulous mindset and Ebonics vernacular, think again.

What part of deport illegals, and prevent them from returning don’t you comprehend? Our country will not implode without cheap illegal labor. They are draining this country dry, and we’re sick of it. If you disagree, that’s your prerogative.

Teach “citizens” the laws and their rights? Are you referring to legal citizens or illegal aliens? If the latter, be advised, they are NOT citizens. Furthermore, they are quite knowledgeable of our laws. If not, they would not be adept at circumventing, manipulating, and abusing them. For the umpteenth time, we owe them NOTHING!

If you believe this forum is comprised of nothing but whining and complaining anti-illegal parrots, no one has a gun to your head forcing you to participate. Your comments are not amusing, and you are only making yourself appear trollish and ignorant.

Kele has eloquently articulated solutions. Either discuss the issues intelligently, or continue behaving as a troll. The decision is yours.

By the way, I made the mistake of giving you the benefit of the doubt. I learn from mistakes, I don’t repeat them. Don’t let the smooth taste fool you.

Ugh, dont you get tired of doing that?

For one thing "homeboy/homegirl" is not exclusively Black, so it was NOT directed at you.
I know youre proud of 'how well you speak', but that wasnt an attack.

You know so little about the Latino-American culture, lol....you seriously think we all go around calling each other 'ese'?

Youre subscribing to that political correctness that you guys despise so much. And you are overly sensitive and paranoid to always accuse people of telling you stuff, "cuz I'm black!"

girl!!!! thats all it was. girl is like homegirl. or girlfirend. or babygirl. or any other term of endearment. why you gotta throw the race card in there? i aint racializing you. thats the way i interact with folk. with peoples. with those who i feel i have some familiarity with. albeit cyber. if you prefer ma'am. well then, now i know. no need to get all defensive. and homegirl is not ebonics. and its not ghetto fabulous or hood. its a term of endearment. would you say the same about those other terms? is "girl" ghetto? wow. stop using the race card.

right, i get that, but how do you keep them from coming over. strengthen the borders? impose heavier fines for repeat offenders? create better jobs south of the border? curb the drug habits of US citizens? bring the immigration process up to speed? what do we do to ensure that people dont creep across the border. its one thing to say, prevent them from returning, but you only look uninformed if you dont say how you will prevent them

damm ma'am, im talkin about US citizens. teach them what they can do and how they can stay within their rights while combating illegal immigration. kinda like the minutemen. what can a citizen of the US do if they suspect illegals? where do they call? what can they physically do? some jurisdictions have arrested suspected illegals on grounds of trespassing. can a citizen make an arrest on the same grounds? maybe have legal clinics that inform the citizens. seriously what happened that you think im referring to illegals as citizens?

ya there aint no gun, are you inferring i leave? since when does running away solve anything? im tryin to get you guys to actually have something of substance to say. you guys say the same thing over and over. but rarely elaborate. lets raise the bar here. raise the level of discussion. when you say, deport them, well how do you find them? when you say prevent them? well how do you do that?
this way you are prepared for anything someone might say.
call me a devils advocate, but def not ignorant.
as for trollism. ladygirl please. in most of my posts i provides points for you guys to combat the so called illegal lovers. but when i can i will dispute dubious claims. that only sharpens your tools. its practice. im not trolling. you just might not like the way i prod or provoke dialogue. and it seems the quickest way to try to cut me down, is to call me a troll. id rather work with you guys for effective solutions.

FINALLY!!!!

how hard is that guys.

very simple and succint.
thanks.

so what do you think about using biometrics and retina scans as well as finger prints to track and database illegals? do you think its economically feasible? you would think that with this computer age it would be possible. have an afis type of DB. what about that?

Here are your solutions.

1. Clarify the Fourteenth Amendment. It was ratified to give citizenship to the children of slaves, not foreign nationals. No tempting birthright American citizenship, less pregnant foreign nationals of EVERY ethnicity coming into America in order to give birth to an American citizen.
so who is elligible for citizenship if it is not by birth? do you have to have a certain income? a certain generational history here? what if someone on a temp visa had a child here. they are here legally, would their child be granted temp citizenship? this is a bit tricky. the best way to stem the "crossing the border for birth" phenomena would be to secure the borders. thats the easiest solution.
2. Heavily fine and imprison all employers found to have illegal aliens in their employ.
the fines might work, the incarceration part might not. we would pack our federal jails. over tax tha penal system. stiff fines to the brink of ruin should be enough deterrant
3. No more benefits for illegal aliens. No citizenship--no WIC, no Medicare, no food stamps, no Section 8 housing, no medical care unless a life threatening emergency is in progress. No more freebies at the expense of American taxpayers--no more impetus to come to the U.S. illegally to live at the expense of hard-working citizens.
well we agree on one of these. but illegals arent really eligible for these benefits. their kids are. kids born as US citizens. this is unenforceable without changing that lil 14th am. thing. its a hard sell.
4. Legal residency must be proved before bank accounts can be opened and/or homes can be bought or rented.
while this might work in theory, how practical and feasible is it. does the regualr citizen know how to spot fake documents. i have no idea what a NY ID looks like. or a TX ID. how do i know if its fake or not? as a land owner what if i rented to a person thinking their docs were real, when in fact they werent? should we create a database of people who are here legally? or a DB of people who have been previoulsy deproted? a DB of all citizens? like a no-fly list. you can fly! you cant! you can rent! you cant because you aint on the list?

5. In this computer generation, it is ridiculous to believe that identity theft by Social Security number cannot be tracked. Hold accountable the thieves stealing American identities in order to work illegally in this country.

these are all good points. but working the kinks out is a bit more complex. how could these be presented in a way that works?

oh and about my diction? i am perfectly read and understood on here, by many as a matter of fact.
besides this is an informal forum. there is no need for hall monitors and grammar queens here.
you were able to understand me right?

its funny when people try coming for my diction and writing style instead of my thoughts or ideas.
pretty petty.

Street jargon is not my forte. Thus, I did not realize “homegirl” is considered a term of endearment. Likewise, I did not realize “ese” is now considered derogatory. I apologize if I offended you.

well homegirl is not really street jargon. its like girl. or baby girl. girl carries no negative connotation does it? unless you are sexist.

ese, is a cholo. i am not a cholo. you are basically calling me a cholo. that carries a negative connotation. a thug, a criminal.

dont try to pretend you dont know what you are doing. you only make yourself look ignorant and ungenuine.

but thats fine. if you want to focus on that and not real issues be my guest, but you are only parroting what you might have heard somewhere.
and if you are so unfamiliar with ESE? where did you get it from?

i really thought you were different.

but again, thats fine.
i prefer people to be honest all around. show me their true colors. just wondering what took so long. we are all anonymous here. be yourself next time LADY.

and talk about the issues i bring up. dont parrot some epithet next time.
