15 Things You Should Know About "The Race"
July 08, 2008 07:52 PM EST

Michelle Malkin

Only in America could critics of a group called "The Race" be labeled racists. Such is the triumph of left-wing identity chauvinists, whose aggressive activists and supine abettors have succeeded in redefining all opposition as "hate."

15 Things You Should Know About "The Race" by by Michelle Malkin

Every voting American should have a clear view of each presidential candidates stance on illegal immigration. At the end of the day, both are ethnocentric panderers in favor of amnesty for illegals.

IMO, La Raza is nothing more than an illegal alien “slave” trader masquerading as a “civil rights” advocacy group. According to a man on CNN the other day, few people in the “legal” Hispanic community embrace the tenets of La Raza.

Sounds to me that MEChA is using Mein Kampf as its template.

Just that it would be suicide for the above to advocate murdering non Mestizo Hispanics.

Hell; for that matter, American Indians are not readily accepted by many Latinos due to the White supremacy in Hispanic culture.

Not only did Lou Dobbs call them out on their ethnocentric BS and inflated importance to those they claim to represent he had an hispanic guest to back him up with percentages.

Now did you guys know michelle malkin was an "anchor baby"?
Quote:

Doc Apolo arrived in the US under a work visa sometime in 1970, and Malkin was born “months” later, in October

According to the Right-wing talking points on immigration, a baby born to immigrants here on work or travel visas is still an anchor baby, because the baby lubricates the “guest” worker’s path to premature citizenship, and immediately heaps a load of Federal benefits on the baby– all of which Michelle herself took advantage of

She is a hypocrite!!

Irrevelant to me.

As I have stated in the past: those US born Anchors age 17 and down already here should be 'grandfathered' in as citizens but any new births after a cutoff date would be counted as illegals and subject to deportation along with their (illegal) parents. And the parents of the first group would still be subject to being tossed out of the USA anyway.

Yup. Born when her parents were in the US on a work visa. Actually not long after they arrived. Technically an anchor baby but then again her father was a physician so many will argue the was an anchor baby that probably didn't receive public services. But anchor baby is anchor baby legal or illegal right?

By the way, she is a sensationalist and full of Hot Air... pun intended!

I am still confused about The Race or La Raza being an issue. As ArizonaBear says, being hispanic, latino or whatever is not a race it is a culture. The name of the group is a misnomer. It should be La Cultura.
