I wish just one of these articles would tell the real story. How did this man start a business AND own a home with no green card?

He stole an American Citizens identity. They like to gloss over that fact.

Yes and in his roofing company, he quite obviously discriminated against Americans and hired only kin and family friends, using his illegal business as a way to bring in many more illegals.

How many of his illegals were provided health insurance benefits or legal wages? How many of his illegals began popping out babies in order to collect food stamps, WIC, and used Medicaid instead of paying their medical bills?

The guy sounds like nothing but a crook who used all kinds of immigration scams, not only to come here illegally himself but to become very rich by bringing in many cheap illegal workers to avoid paying American workers or providing jobs to Americans.

I love it, keep deporting! Every one of them has a story of breaking the law and being disrespectful to this country. We just need to keep cleaning until every last one of them r gone.

How convenient, Lindsey!

The media makes these scenarios sound so "loving and romantic" by omitting the cold hard facts.

Exactly because if JOE PUBLIC understood the entire spectrum of what this man has done to stay here, the lives of those he has harmed by stealing their identity, things wouldn't look so pretty and sad that he is getting sent home.

I would like to see a story like that, all the REAL details laid out. Any public assistance given, cost of educating his children in public schools, benefits wrongly paid out, medical bills not paid for.

You guys are way too harsh. This guy only wanted the american dream. He low balled his way to the top. Hey he only low balled so that the customer could get a roof put on cheap. Yes he probibly imported some more illegals to work for him. How else could he low ball and still live good?
What they should do.
1. Search his records and verify he paid his taxes, all of them.
2. Verify he had insurance and a licence.
3. verify that he paid workmans comp for all of his employee's.
4. Take all of his assets and pay off any debts he still has, including the IRS.
5. If any money is left use this money to pay the cost of his deportation.

Don’t you just love these “sob” stories. The man is a criminal and an absconder, period. He ignored a prior deportation hearing, and now our tax dollars are being used to pay for his use of our judicial system (including an interpreter), his incarceration, and yet another deportation hearing. How many U.S. citizens can ignore a court order with impunity?

I feel no compassion for this man. He ignored our laws, and must now suffer the consequences. Are we now to have two sets of laws…..one for U.S. citizens, and one for illegal aliens; the latter being less punitive? Lately, they seem to be the only people our courts deem worthy of compassion and leniency. I’m sure there must be a few U.S. citizen “nice guy” bank robbers who are only trying to support their families.

Who wants to bet he doesn’t return once deported? These criminal aliens consider our immigration enforcement a joke; which sadly, it is.
