Apparently one of those to be executed was an illegal immigrant who joined a gang and raped and then killed two U.S. teenagers... yeah, I bet he was innocent as amc suggests... excuse me while I push the syringe to kill him now...

To be fair, just because he happens to be an illegal does not automatically him guilty of the crime.

I have no problem with that. Hell I would be happy to offer it up. When you don't commit crimes you don't really have a lot to fear from providing such samples.
Imagine a nationwide data base. Crime is committed. compare evidence to the data base and bingo we know who did it. It might be shocking how many unsolved crimes would be solved in a hurry.
You make a good point I didnt think about.

Something about that creeps me out, but at the same time like you said, if youre not committing crimes, you have nothing to worry a bout.

I am for the death penalty if, and if being a very large word here, they can prove beyond a shadow of any doubt. I have found that eye witness accounts are not credible at all, especially when it happens to be a person of one race eye witnessing against a person of another race.
Yeah, I'm not exactly a bleeding heart towards death row prisoners. When I hear about child molesters, and brutal murderers, I think an eye for an eye.
But the system is way too flawed to be completely for the death penalty.

Howd I suggest that? I don't even have any idea what crime you are talking about.

There are no absolutes in this world... NONE.... Those convicted of a crime are much more than likely to be guilty than innocent and those with heinous crimes meriting a death penalty sentence are even more likely to be guilty than innocent... are innocent people sentenced to death? Yes, they are... should we abandon condemning death because of the very rare chance that there will be innocent people on death row? When will there EVER be only guilty people on death row? The answer is NEVER... so yes, there are people on death row that are innocent and if they are found to be innocent than release them... if they were executed than sue the state... but its going to happen whenever you have capital punishment... but then this isn't a topic about capital punishment, its about people who think illegal immigrants committing crimes should be offered a second chance at court... I am sure there are many convicted felons that would love that... and its B.S. to say they weren't properly defended in court...

Everyone deserves a fair trial. Even illegal immigrants.
If the UN says so, then I agree.

You know who else doesnt like it when the UN intervenes? The guys running places like Guantanamo Bay.

If the UN agrees then you agree. That shows where your loyalty stands, with the one worlders and the all of the BS that goes with that group. Thanks for clarifying though.

There is absolutely no proof that these men DIDN'T get a fair trial. In fact, I don't think that was ever alleged. This whole tempest in a tea cup is over these men not being given access to the Mexican Consul.

Of course, the Mexican Consulate was well aware that their nationals were on trial for capital crimes, they just didn't feel these men were important enough to go down to the jailhouse and visit with them.

Somehow that's America's fault??

Gimme A FREAKING BREAK!!
