Florida is not unique. Thousands of non-citizens are registered to vote in some states, and tens if not hundreds of thousands in total may be present on the voter rolls nationwide. These numbers are significant: Local elections are often decided by only a handful of votes, and even national elections have likely been within the margin of the number of non-citizens illegally registered to vote.

Yet there is no reliable method to determine the number of non-citizens registered or actually voting because most laws to ensure that only citizens vote are ignored, are inadequate, or are systematically undermined by government officials. Those who ignore the implications of non-citizen registration and voting either are willfully blind to the problem or may actually favor this form of illegal voting.
The Threat of Non-Citizen Voting

I don't think anyone wants to stop people from voting who have earned that right, BK.

I know I don't...

I wasn't referring to naturalized citizens, i meant legal immigrants with green cards or those with temporary visas.

Do they have the right to vote?? I don't think they do, so I would suggest that anyone registering to vote be able to PROVE their eligibility to do so.

You know, that racist idea of Voter ID...

I am against any non-citizen voting for any reason whatsoever. I believe that it should be, as the founding fathers wanted, strictly a right for American citizens.

I don't care about their kids in our schools or any such rubbish. If they wanted to vote so badly then they should have become citizens.

The same way that most make it to that office. The powers that be pick who they want and there you are. Make no mistake that I always vote but I also am intelligent to know that it means very little. I also know that illegals do vote, some do anyway, because I heard this from family that has worked the polls in different states. Of course they are not allowed to say anything because they would be branded a racist or bigot. You know how that goes.

This is disgusting, and certainly explains why Obama and McCain are pandering to illegal aliens. There is not doubt in my mind illegal aliens will be voting in November.

You bet they will, at least in certain states. I do know that NM and CA don't make anyone prove who they are soooooo...
