Why is it that illegal immigration is not supposed to be illegal? People come to this country in search of fame and fortune, but usually don't find it. Why is it, could it be that they didn't have anything to bring to the table. This country was built on the backs of people that didn't even live on this continent. But people that wanted change. To do this, it means a lot of hard work, a lot of schooling. Schools are free in this country and people take it for granted. If people would do the hard work they would understand the meaning of pride and respect. It's really easy to say that your proud of your country but if you took the time to do the statistics on your country, you might not think so. There's a reason why everyone wants to come here-It's great. Next time you want to trash an American. Think what it would be like to go back to where your from. As a father of a multi-racial family it's not the color of your skin that you should be worried about, but what your doing to help The United States and not what you can do to take from it. If you do not like what I have said it's because you can not face the facts or you just don't know English. Get a education and respect hard work and people with a higher education than yourself and learn from them.

The key word here is illegal. If something goes against a written law, it is illegal. Period.

When the settlers came to this land we now call the USA, it was a nation of many laws by many different native american tribes. Native americans know that they didn't own this land, they were of this land.

So you think people come to the USA for fame? No, people don't come to the USA for fame when they immigrate here. Fortune maybe not fame. We have laws here that work pretty darn good when they're enforced, and that's for your protection and mine.

1. Having nothing to bring to the table is not a good thing. The settlers brought a lot to the table when they came here. Determination to make a nation where they could practice freedom is the foundation this country was built on. The illegals coming here are free in their own nation, they choose to sit by as a majority in their country and allow the ruling upper class minority to take advantage of them.

2. Education is not free in this country it is paid for by taxes you and I pay. I don't know where you got that nonsense from.

Where would that be? Why don't the people who come here illegally attempt to change their homeland? Fight for rights in their own nation instead of coming here and demanding us to give them what we have worked hard to develop for our citizens?

Why? That was a good post. There's no reason your Mexcio itself couldn't be the land of opportunity for it's people. If people were to grab at their chance for an education, stay in school, delay having babies and have only the number of babies they can feed, then Mexico which is the 12 richest nation in the world wouldn't have people leaving by the tens of millions.

Why is it that all prosperity comes to a screeching halt once you reach our southern border? And why do you assume the people of Mexico can never turn that around but must always be allowed to sneak into the USA in unlimited numbers expecting the American people to fix everything for them?
