Why are people mad at the church instead of being made at I.C.E? I don't get this twisted logic at all!! I.C.E can go in at anytime and deport them if they wanted to.

They're not criminals, they're workers. Apparently this church realizes that and did the right thing.
Gotta love civil disobedience!!
Without trying to sound disrespectful, it IS possible to be BOTH...that is, a worker, AND a criminal. For example, a carpet installer may, at the same time, be a drunk driver.....and a school teacher can also be a shoplifter.
Furthermore, not ALL illegal immigrants are 'workers', either.

What these cowards really need to do is learn to do some of that civil disobedience back in their own countries. The problem is, they will not, they run over the borders and start breaking all the laws they find here.
If only they would work as hard to improve conditions back in their homeland. They might actually accomplish something positive, benefit their fellow paisanos, improve their countries.
They really cannot all come here, simply because they won't work for reform or cultural change that is long overdue. The USA simply cannot be the lifeboat for the entire world's poor population. Only a major bleeding heart really believes that the USA can take in the over 2 billion impoverished people of the world and make things perfect for them, but in reality we cannot. At some point, change and reform needs to happen in those sending countries.
