Eileen Burke, a retired Philadelphia police officer who lives near the scene, said about the time of the beating she heard someone shouting “You tell all your Mexican friends to get out of town,” although police said they will not comment on the assailants’ motivation until interviews are complete

Not a racial issue because Mexican is not a race. We have told you this forever and yet, you constantly forget this point. It is an ethnic crime and you did not need to post another thread about the same thing.
It could very well be a 'hate crime' motivated at least partially by the victim's ethnicity. If it is, these teens need to be charged accordingly. That's what living under the Rule of Law does, it gives a means of meting out justice.
These kids need to face the Rule of Law, just as anyone else that violates it.
don't we have a thread that deals with this? I didn't care on that thread, and I don't care on this one. a crime is a crime. if they committed it against him for being mexican, it's no worse than if they had committed it if it had been a woman.

Would your issue be that it is not murder because the victim was a "Mexican".

Bwahahahahaha!!! Oh man, this is the lamest attempt at "hand waving" I've ever seen. Somebody please tell me that the above post is a joke.

Do all of you pr-illegal types lack reading comprehension? Is this something that comes with loving criminals?
I never said such a thing and stop trying to say I did. I said that it was not a racial crime because the ethnicity of Mexican is not a race. We discussed this on the other thread and I don't and didn't feel it necessary to say once again that the idiot boys committed a crime.
BTW Sassy, stop trying to put words in other people's mouths because you are not good at it and it shows you to be lacking in debate skills, which you are, but no need to constantly show it.
I would say it is a Hate crime. He was killed because he was Mexican...meaning Hispanic..latino..whatever. It came down the killer using hate as a means to commit the deed. replace Mexican with black, gay, jewish...you see it now?
