I find it hard to believe that a community, including its clergy of all persons, actively disregarding the laws of our land for the sole benefit of its ethic people to the detriment of the general populace, will do anything proactive to better the US country as a whole w/o radical future changes. Until there is a vocal minority (or majority) within the Latino community that actively breaks from the status quo of protecting the criminal elements within itself will there be any changes. Its splitting hairs but if the criminals who are here police their own violent "criminals", then maybe us citizens might have one less battle cry against the illegals.
Excellent post! By supporting rather than denouncing those who are here illegally simply because they share a race, ethnicity, or geneology, those here legally have willfully become part of the problem as well.

A similiar synopsis: Any black person who attempts to justify the use of the "N" word whether it's part of a rap song or being used as a "term of endearment" (which is the most ignorant excuse to date) is part of the problem and IMHO has absolutely no basis for calling any other group of people racist for using it. No matter who uses it or how it's used it doesn't change the original definition of the word.

Whether you crossed the border illegally "looking for a better life" or crossed the border and committed ADDITIONAL criminal acts, you are are criminal. Simply because illegal entry is not a felony, it doesn't change the fact that you committed a crime, thus that makes you a criminal.

In both cases, you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. You can't have it both ways.

The greatest shame is that innocent U.S. Citizens have to pay with THEIR LIVES for the totally crazy, insane and FAILED POLICIES of San Francisco and other "sanctuary" cities.

AMEN, Happy Cells.

Too bad the scumbag leaders, including that pitiful excuse for a Mayor, Gavin Newsom, cannot be held responsible and/or liable for their blatant disrespect and arrogance.

We get it, some illegal immigrants committ crime and/or are bad people. They surely don't represent the typical immigrant though...
Just because it didn't say in that article that he was an illegal alien, here is a link to one that does talk about that fact:

I feel so bad for this poor woman. Honestly, what punishment could fit this crime? The woman is without half her family at this point. How devastating. my heart goes out to her.
