ICE going after employers and illegal aliens alike...way to go ICE!

The raid’s crackdown on both the employers and the suspected illegal workers comes amid a recent surge in employer audits by the Trump administration.

I see this woman is still around and perpetuating the same old, tired lies. From the article:

Tamar Jacoby, president of ImmigrationWorks USA, a group that represents small- and medium-size businesses, said the “rising tide of enforcement” can hurt companies in tight labor markets and industries, like construction, and threatens to ensnare employers who follow the law but are presented with fraudulent documents by their workers.

“It’s just very hard to find workers willing to take some of these jobs,” Jacoby said.

---------------------------------------------

We all know that illegals have depressed wages for the above mentioned jobs.

In the past, when ICE raided companies, Americans would line up that very same day for those jobs.

Contrary to many on the left, this has been going on for over a year now under Trump.

If some of the liberals would get out of their Mother's basement there would be plenty of workers to do these jobs American's won't do.

Isn't this exactly what the liberals always say? "Don't go after the workers, go after the businesses?"

Well, now they're doing just that. Hefty fines per violation and some semblance of certainty the law will get enforced will change the economic calculation for these companies real quick.

The employers should suffer the greater consequences. They circumvent the 'legal employment' process by hiring illegals, pay them less than they would a US worker, and perpetuate abusive and unfair practices. This has always gone on, but maybe now it is getting more visibility under Trump. I don't believe Obama gave a rip about this situation but then...…
Anyway. You must fill out Form I-9 when you are being hired and you must show US citizenship or permission to work legally in this country. Not only is this an immigration issue, it's labor law. If they can't find US citizens to work those businesses, then increase the pay. They hire illegals because they don't want to pay. We need to end the days of looking the other way with the stuff. I have to follow the laws in my country. Everyone else should do.

Good. Dry up demand for illegal will help dry up supply.
