and a very good premonition, Bear!

Arnold knows the state's Latino population, that would be a huge blunder for the state's Republican party. I like Tom Tancredo, even though I disagree with almost everything I've heard from him, but this anti-illegal immigration rhetoric isn't scoring political points for GOP success.

Ken Mehlman head of the Republican party told Schwarz not to do any mid decade redistricting until the 2010 Census comes out. They want to see where the Latino voters are located. Some surveys show the Latino population to be at 35-40% of the states population. I wouldn't be surprised, especially looking at Los Angeles County and the Metropolitan areas.

Very possibly NOT, JesusisLord.

There is a huge misconception that all U.S. Hispanics are Pro-Illegal and that is not, absolutely not, accurate.

I have a large number of Hispanic friends and only one is even slightly accepting of the atrocities of the Illegals and the ridiculous Sanctuary City and Church Sanctuary BS. In fact, most believe the Illegals do nothing but "blemish" and diminish the overall image of the law abiding Legal Citizens of this Country who happen to be Hispanic.

If illegals are here only to do the hard work that Americans don't want to do and they have a good work ethic and aren't here to mooch, then what's the problem with cutting off welfare handouts?

The truth is, many illegals come here to see what they can take, they contribute nothing, they may or may not work but often work seasonal jobs and rely heavily on the many government programs.

If illegals aren't here to get on welfare then there should be absolutely no problem cutting them off from it.

Very valid point, Malamute . . . sadly, too much logic and common sense for many!
