Truth?

If the wage:cost ratio were that dire in agriculture; it would make more sense to grow tomatoes, etc. in Mexico using Mexican citizens working legally vs. having the same people here illegally with all of the problems that entails.

Besides: with the birthrate SOB under 2.4 children per woman (replacement level is 2.1) and continuing to decline--------within 10 years Mexico will probably be facing a severe labor shortage of her own.

Are you aware of the fact that a very small percentage (2-3%) of illegals actually work in agriculture? Moreover, many coming to the U.S. for jobs were in fact employed in Mexico, albeit for less than the 'slave' wages they receive here.
