According to many news reports and statements from your office, the State of California is facing an unprecedented budget crisis. The available data suggests that California could save several billion dollars by reducing the amounts spent providing services to illegal aliens residing in the state.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform, in a 2007 study, estimated that California spends over $10,000,000 on services to illegal aliens and their children. Much of this expenditure is for K-12 education and for emergency health care and is required by federal law, but some of it is not mandated by federal law and can be reduced or eliminated.
In your budget message and proposal for the FY2009 state budget, you identified over $1,000,000 that could be saved by reducing the sentences of illegal aliens incarcerated by the state Department of Corrections. I think it is safe to say that that savings figure could be doubled if the state prohibited all sanctuary policies and all criminal aliens were reported to federal immigration authorities and deported after their first criminal offense.
In fact, Tom Tancredo is the epitome of common sense and logic, especially when it comes to the illegal fiasco.
Governor Arnold needs to GET REAL . . . California no longer has a full piggy bank and needs to accept the fact that illegals are costing them BILLIONS each and every year. Money they do not have and a luxury they no longer can afford.

ITA. Apparently, AHHHNOLD is afraid to call a spade a spade for fear of not being re-elected in the state of illegal alien haven of overpopulation, chaos and tax payer depletion known as Mexifornia. He needs to figure out how to abolish the rampant IA voter fraud because if he thinks those state workers are going to take a pay cut to appease the anchor baby capital/IA gang population of the world he'd better think again.
He wont do it...........He doesn't have the guts required of many of his move characters
Hell Im surprised he accepted the letter in the first place..........
Gutless wonders
Far too many of our elected "so called officials" are spineless PC jellyfish. I also find it hard to believe that the people of California are allowing this drama to continue. It's time for them to rise up and start "demanding" a recall.

I could not agree more, JDubsMom and Convert
Although Arnold may look tough (thanks to years of steroid abuse), he is nothing but a WEENIE PANDERING POLITICIAN afraid of his own shadow.
And it's this kind of thing that brings out the truth. Even if La Raza likes to claim that illegals are only here to work hard to support their starving-to-death families back in Mexico, they'll be the first ones to squawk about the government handouts being cut off.
Many illegals are here to live off welfare handouts. Some are here to work. And of course many work now and then but rely heavily on government handouts.
I don't get it... Pro-illegals have been claiming that illegal immigrants don't use public services... so why shouldn't Arnold do it... it does nothing to the illegal immigration population.. right? Hehehehe...
Why I say that is if the unemployment rate skyrockets in California on top of the imploding housing market--------the (legal) population may explode in fury. The illegals would be the immediate scapegoats, again, just a premonition here.
