43 Busted In Illegal Immigration Raid On Oahu
Did they swim to Hawaii? These were Mexican Nationals people. Now, I know what people say about us at the mainland being so close to Mexico and all but this is absolutely ridiculous. It absolutely proves that they are out to invade every little corner of our country.
43 Busted In Illegal Immigration Raid On Oahu
Feds: Men Citizens Of Mexico
HONOLULU -- Federal officials said they netted 43 illegal aliens in an immigration raid on O`ahu.
U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Officers executed search warrants over the weekend at the Oasis Apartments complex in Waipahu.

Do you really think there is some grand Mexican conspiracy to breed Americans out of their country? They're going where jobs are calling. It's called free-market economics.
Is it detrimental? Well that's a different story, but I hardly believe that people have some malicious intent to undermine American democracy. They're after what we all are. Financial well-being. Does it make it justified? Absolutely not.
That said, I have no idea how those guys got over there.

I suspect their illegal employers arranged for their trip. Why hire legal workers and have to pay them a decent wage, when you can have dirt cheap illegal labor flown to you?

This was a well-stated post. No, Mexicans are not 'conspiring' to overwhelm the US, just as you say. It's simple economics, 'habit', and laziness. Mexicans come frrom a corrupt country. It's not particularly poor at ALL....but it's very unfair, and its wealth is poorly distributed. There's little sense of any 'social contract' in Mexico, and those who aren't 'in', are just 'out'. The US just HAPPENS to be a very close-up, very tempting 'safety valve', allowing Mexico to dump its 'excess' population, before they can get desperate and angry and turn on their own society. It's far easier to just move north. That's been the 'custom' for generations, and it's a matter of 'inertia'. People tend not to want to change, unless they're 'pushed' to do so.
If Mexico were halfway around the world...if, for example, it bordered on China, or on Russia....then it would be FORCED to deal with its problems. But it's not; it happens to border the U.S., and thus it's able to just pass its problems off onto 'Uncle Sam'. He won't complain.
What "Mexicans" (the oneswho come here illegally) are doing is what anyone would do, if they lived in a corrupt, 'dog-eat-dog' Third-World country, directly adjacent to a wealthy First-World country.....one that refused to monitor its own borders, and allowed its own greedy businessmen to hire cut-rate, below-scale labor, to the detriment of its own workers. It's as if a poor, rough neighborhood bordered directly on a huge, upscale shopping mall...one that never locked its doors, and seldom prosecuted shoplifters. It's not hard to imagine that the mall management would soon have a HUGE problem...with trespassers, and those 'helping themselves'. It wouldn't be a 'conspiracy', it would simply be 'stupidity', on the part of the mall owners.
Illegal immigration to the U.S. benefits Mexico immensely, while causing a serious drain on the U.S. It is a huge, expensive problem...for us. If it's to be stopped, it's up to US to stop it. Mexico has neither the incentive, nor the desire, to stop illegal immigration...it's not their problem.

Excellent, as usual! Unfortunately, it’s much too logical for the pro-illegal crowd. It will go completely over their heads.
