Nor does this concern Sen. Menedez in any way. He is not lobbying for appropriate care for anyone in custody, only for illegal aliens. Why doesn't this surprise me?

You took the words out of my mouth. Moreover, the last time I checked, incarceration isn't supposed to be like a stay at the Ritz. I believe in humane treatment. However, if they didn't commit crimes, they wouldn't be in jail.

I think the ACLU might say something about that. And people get sued a lot for that kind of stuff.

Absolutely! Furthermore, the ACLU is no longer concerned with the injustices experienced by "legal" citizens of this country. They have found a much more lucrative illegal alien enterprise through their partnership with La Raza.

yeah, because if it passes, there will be a little bit more pressure to keep illegals in captivity alive.
